Indefinate Military Lock Up of American Citizens.

They warned us years ago about this. We are starting to approach the turning point of never being able to go back.

we are all captive citizens anyway. If they throw us in prison then we get free room and board.......and friends with benefits?!?
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

That won't be so bad will it? Think of it this way. If a crack addict can justify sucking dirty %&$k for a high, wouldn't it stand to reason than a normal person would adjust to a situation like that?

Free room, free boarding even with a few other little things on the side is better than what millions world wide have!

This message brought to you by future socialists of america.

              Just teasing really :P

Kind of funny to read this right after reading an article that stated street gangs have infiltrated every branch of the military. Kind of ironic really..criminals locking up criminals...Well actually I guess that is how things have been for a pretty long time anyway hmm???

More of that "change" everyone keeps talking about. Lets see, we get to pick between a do nothing Democrat or a bunch of whining Republicans for president. I might have skip the voting booth next election.

C'mon lxskllr you are much smarter than that. I like Ron Paul but he is on another planet. His solution for our nations medical problems rely on doctors and hospitals lowering their fees so we can pay cash for medical services. He also wants to use the gold standard again for our currency. Good luck with either of those. I like the guy and I like his platform on personal freedom but some of his ideas are downright unrealistic. To be honest, I might write in Kucinich just to waste a vote.

Nothing wrong with paying cash for medical services. That would be easy after you ban medical lawsuits, and medical insurance. Going to the doctor would be almost free in comparison to what it is now. Gold standard? At least the money would be backed by something tangible, rather than an IOU nobody sane will ever expect to collect on.

OK so banning medical lawsuits and medical insurance has more validity than the plan Obama is trying to push now? I think it would be great if we could all pay cash to see a doctor but it will never happen on a large scale. My uninsured father in law spent one night in the hospital recently for chest pains. His bill? $19,000.00. Good luck paying that in cash. Also, how would the gold standard work? We would be the only country to use it and do we have enough gold at this point? I would rather see Ron Paul win than any other Republican contender out there but that isn't saying much.

Your FIL's bill wouldn't have been $19k if it weren't for predatory lawyers, and their scum clients. Also, without medical insurance, there's no uninvolved 3rd party taking a cut, while providing no service.

Not enough gold? Then you cut spending, or get a loan. What do you do when you don't have money for something? You either get a loan somebody thinks you have a chance of paying it back, or you do without.
