A Benton County, Ore., sheriff's officer says a 36-year-old Monroe man told deputies he was startled by a squirrel that ran up his left leg so he fired at it but hit his foot instead.

Yeah GV, too bad those banannas, tomatoes, peppers and stuff don't come from farms where people make a living wage even in South America. Seriously, not trying to make you feel bad but the world treats many humans way worse than they do animals, I sincerely think that people who think that they are doing good by not eating an animal that is necessary for nutrition and vilify others for doing so and don't look at what their eating,wearing, or using in a human aspect are just lying to themselves, and justifying their other behaviors by trying to make others feel bad for theirs bad for their own behavior...

Oh yeah I shoot squirrels theirs millions of them and they taste good and you know what they aren't kept in a pen and they are as free range as it gets and if people like me didn't shoot squirrels you couldn't plant any nice flowers and veggies cuz the emfers would eat them all..... so deal with it.... it's life if their isn't enough predators the prey would run wild. It's life deal with it. I am against the super mega factory farms and feed lots, I prefer to take what nature provides. So when you grow a garden to sustain your ways and don't rely on shipped in veggies, talk to me bout it......

It's serious most of the veggies we eat and the clothes we wear are thru slave labor but the vegans if I can call them that because they eat cheetos and cheeze its, say it's bad that I eat met yet I'm sure there's some meat going on it that in some way or another. But back to my point. How can you care more about some animal than your fellow human. And why can't you realize that shit is going around you that is hurting your brother and f#cking care about some pig.... doesn't make any sense to me at all.....

I totally saw this coming. My two best friends in the world are a vegan and a good ol' boy from South GA who hunts regularly. They get along great but some of the discussions/arguments are fcuking EPIC! Good times....
