The Smoking Gun ^ |Police arrested a Oklahoma teacher who hosted a holiday party at her home that was attended by several young female students whom the educator videotaped wearing Christmas-themed bras and panties.
Kimberly Crain, 48, was collared on felony complaints charging that she engaged in lewd acts with minors, manufactured child pornography, and possessed child pornography. Crain is pictured in the mug shot at right.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Crain’s arrest came after a Shawnee Police Department investigator found incriminating images on a cell phone seized during a raid last month at her home. A cop was “able to obtain the deleted photos and videos off of Crain’s cell phone.”
The photos, police reported, showed “juvenile females (students) that were at the decorating/pizza party at Crain’s residence. The photos were those of the juveniles in the bras and panties mentioned through the investigation.” Other photos showed other girls with “exposed genitals, buttocks, and private parts.” The affidavit does not detail when or where those photos were taken.
Crain, who taught third grade at McLoud Elementary School, resigned her job in the face of the police probe of the November 11 tree trimming party.
The investigation of Crain revealed that her troubling behavior was not limited to the privacy of her home. One girl told cops that, “Crain has all the kids in her class Skype over the computer with an older man wearing glasses named ‘Uncle G.’” Additionally, the child said that, several times a week, Crain “takes photos of particular girls in the class, posing on the desk and chairs, using her personal cell phone.”
During a court hearing this morning, a judge set Crain’s bail at $1 million.
