Jill Biden says her husband would be ‘a great president’
Vice President Biden would be a great president if he decided to run in 2016, said his wife, Dr. Jill Biden.
“I think he’d be a great president, and his priorities are my priorities, and the one reason I encouraged him to run last time was to get [U.S. troops] out of Iraq, and that meant so much to me having a son who was deployed, and now my dream has come true,” Biden said in an interview with iVillage published Tuesday night.
The vice president has repeatedly refused to close the door on a presidential run in 2016. Earlier this month, in an interview with NBC’s “Today,” Biden said he wouldn’t rule out the possibility.
