I don't think anyone, including Paul sees him(self) as a Republican. It's a label of convenience for public office.

True, which is why I put technically in there, along with my entire post. I'm not suggesting he really thinks of himself as a Republican, or that anyone seriously views him as such. Dropped the ball there lx, because it's only a label of convenience, that's why the dominant parties don't want him to win. As I said, can't have a viable third party, now can we?
