    Got a nice raise!

8k per year increase! Was offered a potential position change that would require less hours too, but it is a desk job. I kinda prefer the labor end of things. Either which way, the raise sticks. Happy Happy!

Ordered some more Phantom, and have contacted Apartment-finder to get my own place. FINALLY no roommate! I cant wait to get my own place. It has been near 10 years since I have lived without a roommate.

Congratulations Xobeloot on your raise! I hope by the time I post this message that you're too drunk and full of snus to read it . I'd bet your Phantom addiction is even more affordable now .

Congratulations, Xobeloot. I can actually relate to your excitement. Today was my last day at my late job, where I've been for three years. I start Monday at a new place. I'm doing the same thing, but it's similarly lucrative to your own situation, and from what I can sense, just a generally better situation. More vacation, too (25 days instead of 15)! So my mind is expanding upon the new possibilities. But I'm also trying to keep my wits about me, because money is such a bitter partner. My big goal is to get out of apartment living. I've paid lots of money to avoid having a roommate. I relish in my solitude.

I got home from my last day of work not too long ago, slightly traumatized, and have been spraying my trauma down with alcohol, snus and Mary. The last day is very emotional after you've been somewhere a while. One's workplace becomes one's home away from home - often more home than not, if you take into account only waking hours. It's subtle and profound simultaneously. There's a lot to be said for comfort, and a very different lot to be said for leaps of faith and courage.

      I wish you luck.

Thanks all! Yes, I am on a mini-celebration vacation to Tampa for 4 days. I was quite druin, had gone through a LOT of snus, and had eaten so much I could barely move. About to have some breakfast (at 11am) and then... maybe some more beer?

Star, Congrats to you as well! I know the feeling of leaving a place of many years. It can most definately be bitter-sweet. You will do great at your new job, and hopefully stay close with those worth staying close to from the old job.

$8,000 extra per year can buy a lot of snus ;^)
