Need some advice on some ear buds/headphones

I got an mp3 player on my phone which is great but I lost my ear buds (ones I got with my old iphone). Can anyone reccomend a good replacement brand with good audio quality? I priced some of those beats by dre which seem really nice but I don't want to drop that much cash on something I may misplace again.

Those beats by dre earbuds are really the best quality for your money - ludacris came out with some headphones too (not sure if earbuds as well). The next step up after those, you're spending $500 easy on ****in' earbuds... If you really think you're going to lose them though, I'd recommend just going to best buy or whatever and dropping $30-50 on a pair - doesn't really matter which brand, I'd go for the more well-known ones though (Apple makes some cheaper and more expensive ones, Sony, JVC, and I've heard good things about Bose). I'd stay away from brands like Skullcandy and Rocketfish, they seem to be new to the game and aren't as reputable.

Thanks bro! I knew someone would have some knowledge on the subject. The beats are appealing more and more to me. If I spend that much I doubt I'll loose them lol.

Honestly wouldnt recomend dre headphones. Rappers name + product never equals quality. Just buy a cheap pair at a local store walmart bestbuy sears etc. If you dont like them buy a new pair. Its better than spending 100 on something you dont like.

I'm not much of an earbud expert but actual headphones i know a good deal about. As far as Dre beats over head headphones go, they are trash. They are cheap products that go boom loud but that doesnt mean they play music in quality. They put someone name or a brand logo in front of the product and some people just see the name and buy it (ie any apple product.) The beats are cheap and worthless on the actual headphones so im assuming its the same for the ear buds as well.

I lose headphones all the time, I just get the $20 ones that have the rubber inserts for your ears. They always have tattoo looking patterns on them which is part of their brand but I forget what they were called. Anyways those work great for me!

As far as headphones I bought a $130 pair of Sony headphones and i've never seen anything with better quality. Little pricey though but worth it if you want some bass.

I have several pair laying around from all the different mp3 players I've had. I don't like crap stuck in my ear. If I'm using earbuds, it's my last ditch effort for entertainment, and I'm probably miserable anyway, so I don't care about the finer points. All of which is to say, I'd never spend over $10 on earbuds. If sound that approximates the *compressed* audio comes out of both sides, I'm as happy as I'll get with them.

I got a pair of Koss headphones at WalMart for $5. They sound decent and have their own volume control so I can turn them down easily if I am at work. I wouldn't say they are the best pair of headphones I have ever head but for the price it's not bad.

Have either of you actually tried the beats by dre earbuds? If you have not, don't go jumping to conclusions that just because a rappers name is on them that they are automatically crap. I have the beats by dre studio headphones that I use for mixing and they are amazing. I've tried the earbuds that one of my friends purchased and they do actually produce very good quality sound. All I'm saying is, don't knock them until you try them; for the price that they are, they are very good quality.

I'm looking on eBay right now and I'm seeing some slightly used pairs for around $40, and even new ones for around $90. You don't always have to pay retail fellas.

WE are the same person. As someone who is an audiophile I can tell you that Beats are nothing but slightly better than average materials stuffed into a rappers name and loud noise. You dont have to be like me and try to pick up on subtle differences while listening to things with different headphones, I was just giving my input that you can pay way less to get the same product minus someones name on them.

I just bought a cheap pair of skullcandy earbuds and a kinda cheap bluetooth headset with headphone jack off Amazon......

I drove myself CRAZY reading reviews and shit like that. I looked at all kinds of headphones (wired and bluetooth) for over a week, each time not being any closer to deciding and frustrated.

Finally, I took my sunglasses approach........ Buy a pair that is economical but decent so that way if I lose them or break them I dont have to sweat it.

Think about how many hours you are willing to work for a pair of headphones and buy accordingly. LMAO
