    SnusOn Art

Got art? show us here. There's been some interest in creating referral code banners to use as signatures, especially on other sites. First, make sure you aren't gonna piss someone off by doing that. If it's cool, this is how you do it, and this applies to making any picture clickable(like my facebook button).

First, get your referral link from here...
    http://www.snuson.com/forum/usercp.php

Then upload your picture to a file hosting service. You'll then format your signature(or whatever) like this...

    That's it.

For the rest, post your art here; snus related, or otherwise. I'm not especially artistic, but I'll throw my banners up here. They have a decidedly Web1.0 look, but that's ok. I have to keep them simple, as I don't have the eye for design. I know good design when I see it, but I can't do it :^D

Not sure how I missed this thread.

It's not art but my mom just saw her brother for the first time in 25 years and apparently he is a good cook. I am trying to work on my food photography so I can take pics of my wife's mom's restaurant food so I took some pics of his cooking, came out pretty good!

Nice work man. You should get a DeviantArt account, and put your stuff up there. You might even make a couple dollars.

Nice FOOD shots.. back in the day I did a lot of graphic work with new restaurants. Those are just as good or even better then the photographer I was working with. B/W is my favorite for photography and duotones. For me there is more substance, emotion etc.. when you strip the image to basics and rely on form/contrast. It makes me jealous because I would like to get out and do some stuff but after a day of product work I am just burnt on picking up a camera.

You wouldn't happen to have that woods shot in a larger size, would you heders? That would make a great desktop.

                  @ Heders,

WOW! Those are amazing! I strive to be able to take shots that good one day, the color and exposure are perfect on them. I am absolutely jealous. I just got my first camera in December or thereabouts so I am still learning. Great photos though! Keep posting them!

Edit: What camera/lens combo are you using?

All I have is a Cannon T3i with the kit lens. I'd like to get a better lens but they are so damn expensive.

Yah i'm a foodie so whenever the wife or someone cooks something that looks good I always snap a few shots. (You will notice these are all taken at my dinner table lol).

I love B&W too and am just getting into it. There's just something about it that is magic, it lets you forget the color and really focus on the details of the image, I don't know what it is but if done right it is often times better than color.

Edit; I havn't found a career yet so my family is always like, maybe do graphic design or something! I am like, "If I had to slave away doing that all day it would ruin the fun of my hobby!" lolol.

Yes, of course! Here you have a very large version:

Thanks a lot sgreger! I use a Nikon D80, and the lenses I have are the original Nikkor 18-55mm f/3,5-5,6 and a 50mm f/1.8 (killer lense, and extremely cheap). They have 50mm f/1.8 for Canon as well. They cost around $120 (not 100% sure about the currency, but it's very cheap). You get amazing depth of field and splendid quality. My favorite lens for sure. These pictures here are all taken with the original kit lens though.

Really nice photos of you too I've got to say! Keep it up!

Fyi for anyone who wants to help out pris, his company name is "wood.mj" and his trademark is "Cut price DVDs".
(Pris, let me know if you don't want this to be public for some reason, but no publicity is bad publicity!)

This is the default ebay logo that needs replacing that is currently on his site:

Here's what I got so far, they are pretty simple but this is all I can accomplish while i'm at work.
