Viking mass grave linked to elite killers of the medieval world

A mass grave found in Dorset could belong to a crew of Viking mercenaries who terrorised Europe in the 11th century – according to a new documentary on National Geographic which pieces together the story behind the burial.

Isotope testing on the men’s teeth subsequently revealed that they had indeed come from Scandinavia. But exactly who they were has remained a mystery.

They probably found snus in their teeth :^D

Of all the groups that have existed I think the vikings were the most awesome. I mean even their idea of an afterlife included free beer, I don't see how you can beat that?
