          Indeed booze poses a much more immediate risk and harm to society than tobacco does. When I smoked there was a never ending assault of people telling me how bad for my health it was... of course these same people would always look at me queer when I told them I didn't drink, and alcohol would no doubt kill them much faster than my second-hand smoke ever would...

          The argument that alcohol doesn't effect other people like second hand smokes does is true, because second hand smoke generally isn't the cause of brawls, rapes, violence, and fatal auto-accidents. Perspective is a wonderful thing people lack all to often.
