    Free Daz 3D Software

Just found this today, pretty awesome deal as the software is normally pretty expensive. I dabble in 3D modeling here and there but have never gotten serious, now I will be able to spend more time with pretty powerful tools.

Daz 3D is giving away Daz 3D Studio 4 Pro, Bryce 7 Pro, and Hexagon 2.5, free until the end of Feb!

I am sure there are others on here that like free (legit) software and based on a previous thread, I know there are some talented guys on here that will make use of it.

NP, yeah back about 10 years I played around with Bryce and Poser, both great apps, but I just never spent the time to pursue it. Very grateful that they are providing this offer.

One note, seems they don't send the Bryce serial number out in the emails, you need to go to Support and Product Registration on their website and it's there.

Yah I just tried to load bryce and realized they didn't provide me with the serials, only the one forDAZ3d 4. I just want to try Bryce again to take a trip down memory lane. I remember poser too lol, seems like this Daz 3d is pretty much the new Poser, you use it to pose models it seems.

Yah Blender is awesome. Considering how complex 3d animation software is to write, I am amazed that it's as powerful as it is.

Yeah, it seems they combined Poser and the old Daz 3D Studio. You can pose and so forth but you can also create scenes and add lighting. There are several tutorials on youtube including a nifty dragon and dragon slayer one for beginners.

I was just playing around with Bryce, found a good playlist of tutorials for it.
