    Chili!

Do anyone of you admit to be some kind of a "chilihead" ?
Meaning that you like really hot chili sauces.
I just had a burger with some really hot chili sauce. Well actually i mixed it in some ketchup.
The sauce had 1,000,000 Scovilles.. The bottle is almost empty :P

I love hot sauce. It's my favorite condiment, and I use it on almost everything. Cheese, crackers, and hot sauce is a favorite meal of mine.

This is probably the hottest I've had. I don't do extract sauces because it's cheating. Hot is easy when you're extracting chemicals. Making it taste good is something else entirely. Tropical Pepper Co. Is probably my favorite company for flavor, but if I could only have one, it would be Tabasco due to its versatility.

I love eating spicy food but as I get older I find myself eating less......

It's the spiciness on the way out that others me.

                            http://hotsauceaddict.com/blueberry-...-sauce-review/

                            -------------

... and I found a recipe to make your own:

Combine in a small pot over medium-high heat and bring to a simmer:

1 cup hot chili peppers*, stem and seeds removed and coarsely chopped
2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries, coarsely chopped
                            3 cloves garlic, chopped
                            ¼ cup onions, diced
1 plum tomato, skin removed and diced
                            8 whole cloves
                            3/4 cup distilled white vinegar
                            ½ teaspoon kosher salt.
                            4 teaspoons sugar

Once the mixture begins to bubble, reduce heat to low, cover and continue to simmer until peppers are tender—about 10 minutes.

Take the sauce off the heat and let it cool until it’s at a safe temperature for handling. Pour into a blender and purée.

Pour the sauce into a 2-cup size glass or ceramic bowl and let it sit (with loose paper towel on top) until cool.

The sauce may be used as a thick puree OR strain through a fine sieve or food mill if you prefer it more of a liquid hot sauce.

Keep refrigerated in a sealed jar. Will last up to three months. Makes about 1 ½ cups.
                            * adjustable to desired strength

Man I put hot sauce on literally everything. I'd put hot sauce in my drinks if I could find the right flavor

I'm planning on making some of my own once I get these chili peppers grown. The guy at the localo hydroponic store has these two huge ghost chili bushes growing. I've never tried ghost chili but I hear it's pretty brutal and can actually injur you in the right quantities.

But on the daily I use tapatio, sriracha, cholula, tobasco (especially the red and the green ones), franks red hot, and a host of smaller local ones I find at the local grocery store. I probably try a new hot suace out every month at least if not more. There is no other food item I like quite like hot sauce. I can drink it straight from the bottle. Doesn't even make me shit fire either for some reason.
