I still check in here from time to time, I just don't post very much. I don't see a lot of the people that I liked when I first joined on here any more. No offense to the new members, but I just haven't clicked with a lot of them like I did with the people from a couple years ago. We don't really get a whole bunch of spirited posts about some new snus coming down the pipes, which is understandable. I mean, 80% of us might not ever have the chance to try it because of new laws or stricter enforcing of old ones. The topics in People and World Around Us don't really do it for me any more. It used to be we could have real heated debates in there, but nobody took it too personally. Or sometimes Snusdog would wait for 14 pages to fly by before dropping a metaphysics bomb on us to shut us all up.

Snuson used to be a pretty unique forum for me. It had discussions I couldn't find elsewhere. This subforum used to have a good mix of total silliness and serious conversation going on. Now it's dominated by silly news stories from waz3rm and topics I just don't care about. Every time I come back, I find people just posting unrealted stuff in threads to take shots at each other. I've got forums that do silliness, serious discussion, or weird news a lot better than these get done here now. I'm not saying Snuson is a bad forum, or it's gone to hell. It's become what the members wanted it to be, I guess. And what most of you folks want this forum to be isn't the same thing that drew me to it in the first place. I'll keep lurking, and I'll be back if Snuson ever becomes something unique for me again. I get the feeling that it's just going through a natural progression for forums. It's swelled up much larger than it used to be, we saw starkly opposed personalities starting to go at each other, and now it'll splinter off into smaller sub-communities. If it has what it takes to survive this period, I think the forums will eventually mature into something I want to be a part of again. Until then, I watch and wait.

I miss when everyone used to get engaged in 20 page long flame wars about controversial topics and we would have cool discussions. We need Snupy and them back lol.
