Im not a fancy wine or vodka-stuff drinker, so when I want something a little bit more relaxing and finer than soda and juice etc. ill open a beer.

My favourite or one that I really like is Estralla Damm from Barcelona, Spain.

Normally I just drink one when I feel like it. While watching sports and so on. Max 1 a day is probably the rule for me but its not so often i drink one.

When I do i really like to try different ones. Just like with snus.

Any beer drinkers here??

Also, do you think theres something wrong with drinking 5-10 beers a week? (One per day and maybe 2 In weekends).

I love beer and no, I don't think there is anything wrong with 5-10 beers a week. I drink anywhere from 2 to 6 every night (usually 3 or 4). Favorite styles are Belgian Doubles, Tripels, and Quads, German Weizenbocks, American Imerial IPAs, and damn near anything else. The only types of beers I do not drink are Coors/Bud/Miller garbage, crappy malt liquors, then stouts and porters.

I think it is slowly way to go over to harder drinks , so I would not drink as many as I want but would drink less

But if possible try to find some of BrewDog stuff, all of their products are grreat, but I especially dig "Trashy Blonde" and "Alice Porter." I also have a bottle of their "Tactical Nuclear Penguin" which was once the strongest beer in the world with its 32%ABV. Still looking for the special occasion to open it.

Yea I always loved the BrewDog looks, never tried it though. Seen it several times on offer here, but I wasn't into trying ''new'' beer at that time :P

I love Weissbier. From a true Belgian Wit (St.Bernerdus makes the best but hard to find and not cheap) to the German classics -- Weihenstephaner makes the best in my opinion, followed closely by Ayinger. If you can find Weihenstephaner Vitus, it is in my opinion one of the best brews in the word. It's a strong Hefeweizen, a Weizenbock, and it's super good. Weihenstephaner is also the oldest continually operating brewery in the world -- since 1040AD!

Beer is my beverage of choice, I don't care too much for wine or liquor. I drink Molson Export Ale mostly but I don't know if it's available internationally. It's pretty good for a mass-produced beer.

On the subject of witbiers, Unibroue Blanche de Chambly is really nice in the summer. I'm pretty sure you can get it in the U.S. but I don't know if it's available internationally.

Unibroue makes some damn fine beers. I've been on a pale ale kick lately. Brooklyn Pennant ale ha
s been available locally and i have been sucking it down...it is my favorite brew by them.

As for the OP, i drink anywhere from 0-6 alcoholic beverages a day. Mostly a beer at the end of the day or, if i had a rough day a gin martini. I love American craft brews (but will try any beer at least twice) and really only dont like beers with that metallic twang (like Newcastle). I also drink red wine, but that is another thread altogether...

Bells Hopslam 2012 on draught was excellent,
& Dogfish head 90 minute, are my two current favorite IPAs

Greenflash from San Diego is pretty good too.
I mainly drink IPAs, but I'll try anything. Not big on reds or porters though.

Nice selections wade! I've heard so much about hopslam but can't seem to find it. Ever managed to get ahold of Pliny the Elder? Hard to find outside the west coast and even then, in Seattle the specialty beer stores only get a case about every 6 weeks. It's from wine country CA (Santa Rosa). If you see it, buy them all. You'll thank me later.

I am going on a beer tour to Yorkshire, England next week. I am a big fan of British cask ales and traditional pub food. That combined with plenty of sightseeing and visits to local museums makes a perfect holiday.

It is not easy to put my beer preferences in a reasonable order but here is what I really like:
Duchesse de Bourgogne, Flemish brown ale (Belgium)
Vichtenaar, Flemish Brown ale (Belgium)
MacEvans cask ale (Scotland)
RedScrees cask ale (from English lake district)
Golden Pride bottle conditioned ale (producer by Fullers in England)
Verhaege Echtkriek (cherry flavored ale from Belgium)
Westmalle Trappist (Trappist ale from Belgium)
Franziskaner Hefeweizen (Wheat beer from Bavaria)

Anyone tried the most popular beer here from Denmark? Carlsberg and Tuborg. Its good but I wanna try new stuff since it was everyting I bought earlier.

Carlsberg is a good lager but here in the USA it's ridiculously overpriced at close to $10 for 6. Carlsberg is brewed all over the world so especially when I am in Asia I like to drink it because it's a step up from may of the Asian lagers, but still cheap over there. Having said that, Tiger is a also a decent lager, Chang from Thailand is excellent, Sapporo is the best Japanese one in my opinion, but in the end, all of the best Asian lagers and Carlsberg, etc sernve the same purpose: just a cold, crisp, refreshing beer. Nothing to knock your socks off, but good on a hot day nonetheless.

Thats expansive for some Carlsberg :P Here its not cheap either, so I tend to buy Heineken when I want a 6 pack of something. Which I like better but also its just a refreshing beer to a hot day.

Glad you mentioned Tiger I saw that in my local supermarket, need to pick it up
