    Amsterdam-Schiphol-Duty-Free ------------Price for a 1/5 of BOOZE??

I am leaving dodge here soon and would like to know if any of you international travelers could give me a idea about how much a 750 ml/ 1/5th of average booze cost's at the Duty Free?? Like Smirnoff, Svedka, Canadian CLub, Jack or Jim

You should look at the Seebuyfly website:
    http://www.schiphol.nl/Travellers/Sh...ng2/Liquor.htm
I think the variety of liquor they offer at Schiphol is even larger but this must give you an indication of the tax free prices.
    Is Amsterdam your final destination?

      Thanks for the link.

They did not have much of a selection but that gives me a rough idea.
Jim Beam is going for about 18 bucks if I understand the currency converter correctly.

      Final destination will be RIGA.

Alright that is not an all day destination! Well Schiphol is a nice airport to spend some time. If you want/got enough time, you can even take the train straight to Amsterdam which takes about 15 minutes.

Years back I did do that on long layover. Such an amazing place!! Next time will have to spend a couple of nights there.
