A Censored Race War? by Thomas Sowell

My dad talked about this when I was a kid.

I'm not much given to hero worship but Tom Sowell comes as close as a writer can for me. He's a thinker of rare talent. I cannot recommend highly enough any or all of the superb body of his work.

Yes, he's good. My local paper runs his column periodically. I might have to start reading his writings online.

Oh yeah you will not regret it. If possible try to find some of his books at the local library or bookstore. One of his most recent is an updated version of his book "Basic Economics". Sounds a bit dry but I'll bet you will flat not be able to put it down. Much of his web work can be found at National Review Online, Investors Business Daily, and of course his own website www.tsowell.com. He is just a plain genius and a very down-to-earth one to boot although his erudition suffers not from that characteristic.
