What kind of country have we become? We are asking our young men and women to put their lives on the line for a cause they don't even believe in. I am proud of those veterans for doing their time and even prouder that they are standing up for what they believe. Obama should be ashamed at himself for carrying on this ridiculous war. We voted for change and not more of the same and so far I haven't seen anything impressive. What makes it even worse is that the Republicans kept nominating even bigger idiots ensuring Obama will win again.

Wow...I heard about this going on but this was the first that I have heard the speeches that were given...They made me cry. Very powerful video but unfortunately these voices won't be heard by most. I most definitely support our troops, this is why I want them home now!!!

The same thing happened during Vietnam. Until this country changes its fundamental attitude and behavior, these nonsense wars will continue.

It sucks because joining the army today is like becoming a storm trooper for the imperial army. It's not like in WWII where you were fighting "the good fight" (or at least that's what everyone believed). Nowadays they don't even try to pretend we are doing anything usefull, and that hurts morale. I don't think anyone I knew in the army was particularly gung ho for the mission, most were just doing their time to get the free college money and then get out. Very few were like "we're gonna get them bastards and keep this country safe!" or anything. Probably because everyone knows that these people don't serve much of a threat to us anyways. They hit a real hole in one with the twin tower incedent, but other than that they haven't been successfull (or even trying) to do anything big. It would be too easy to just poison the water system or something but it never happens, probably because they would rather we bankrupt ourselves over there trying to find the boogeyman.

Sad to say, but war will not ever stop until God fulfill His purpose. These days and for all the coming years, wars will become worst; the economy will become worst, the government and the leaders of the country.
