Planning a trip to Morocco - tobacco?

    Hi guys,

I am planning a trip to Morocco for a week in August. Just wondered if any of you had any knowledge of either smoked or smokeless tobacco in that part of the world. I guess hookahs and shisha will be quite popular, and I'm looking forward to trying that. Something I won't be using is a Sebsi hash pipe, although I gather it's quite prevalent. Just not my thing. Is there smokeless in Arabic countries like Morocco? Could I take some snus with me?

I look forward to your feedback :-)

I took my motorbike to Morocco a couple years ago, i don't think you'll buy any snus there mate. I took 4 rolls with me for a six week trip, the moroccan people didn't know what to think of it. I did smoke some of the local stuff, but it wasn't tobacco, if know what i mean harry

I smoked roll-ups out there... didn't know what smokeless tobacco was back then.

I was on the good olde Marlboro Lights, plus the local specialty, which I found out what it was at my cost when i got quite spaced out! Loads of people seem to be going to Morocco this year, are there good deals on or something?

Not that you will smoke hash out there Vulpes but it's not a good idea to get caught with it out there.

Not on my to-do list, after the decade and a bit I've had.
