Seven Minutes of Terror (Must See Video)

This is a very well-prepared five-minute video from NASA about the Curiosity spacecraft and what it has to do in the final seven minutes to touchdown. The maneuvers to be performed are incredible feats of engineering. The spacecraft landing is planned for August 2012 so you might appreciate this information prior to the landing. I rate this a "must see" video!

I hope they get better pictures of the big Face and the green crystal like foliage that changes colors through the year.

I can't wait to see if it works. That's an amazingly convoluted landing routine, and some impressive engineering.
