It's called the American dream, because you have to be asleep to believe it!

Every day I hear people people bicker back and forth about politics. The problem with this, it doesn't matter who you vote for, politics is nothing more than an illusion, in reality you have no choice, your ****ed.

Our government is what is known as capitalistic democracy. Or, this is what it was at least known as. Today it is a plutocracy, a corporate communist state where the lines between "freedom" and "hell" are blurred.

Corporation's run our country, not the people. They do not give a damn about our worker rights, they care about one thing only that is greed. Your health, freedom and soul are barely a thought to them.

Sadly, in America the almighty dollar is god.

Want to know where our "democracy" is headed?

    From Local Michigan News:

A coalition of business groups is asking Secretary of State Ruth Johnson to deny ballot access to the proposal constitutional amendment designed to protect collective bargaining rights as an illegal general revision of the Constitution and statutes.

"Nearly 700,000 Michigan voters signed the petition in support of protecting the fundamental right to collective bargaining,” the statement from Protect Our Jobs said. “Corporate special interests will stop at nothing to silence the voices of all Michiganders by limiting their right to negotiate for fair wages and benefits.

I'm with you dirty hippy, it's a country run on money, which is both good and bad. We've been blinded by the good for a while, but now the bad is beginning to show itself in the form of a corporatocracy, where (as is inevitable in capitalism) the wealthy has filtered to the top, and those few at the top now realize they hold the reigns to this sled and are willing to take us up a booming hill and crash us right back down the other side, and they bet on this sled play the entire way. High's and lows, recessions and recovery's, boom's & bust's, and the speculators take bets the whole time and laugh their way to the bank. The way it's looking now, freedom and democracy futures must be trading real low nowadays.

It's almost entirely controlled from the top, but not by those elected, rather it is controlled by those who have top dollars to influence whoever is in power (be it the elected regime, the people who run the banks or the fed reserve or the media). Once you have the money, you don't need a station such as president or anything to control the nation, because you already know so dearly the golden rule. Wait, you do know the golden rule do you not? He who haseth the gold, maketh the rule.
