Men's grooming products - what do you use?

    Hey guys,

Thought this might be a fun off-topic thread, if somewhat random. What grooming products do you use? i.e. deodorants, shower gels, cologne, hair products, whatever really!

I'm quite old school with grooming products, I do like my Old Spice (Kilimanjaro is great) deodorant and pre-electric shave. For showering I buy whatever is on offer, not fussy really but it's usually Lynx or Original Source for men (the latter is really very good, i love the chilli and pepper? one). I used to wet shave, but now just use a midrange Philishave. When I did shave properly, I did it with a badger shaving brush and sandalwood soap. I love original Brylcreem, not the new clay, wax, putty, gel cream...etc. and a decent comb by 'KENT'. I've got very thick hair and it gives a great glossy feel and calms it down without turning it into concrete, I'd recommend you try at least once :-). I occasionally dab towel dried hair with bay rum, and might try Pashana's offering and not a Boots bargain special lol.

If I ever go out on the town, which is very rarely, I love Ralph Lauren Polo Sport Extreme. I got it for xmas about 10 years ago and i'm still only about 1/2 way through it. Its really peppery, i love it There you are, the name Extreme, not in connection with Ex-Frosted or GN Tobacco lol.

Wow, that's two of us that use bay rum. Is it popular in the states? It's rare here.

I don't have a photo, and I'd be ashamed to show it if I did, because of the vast amount of shaving soaps, aftershaves and colognes that I now have, lol. Some time about 2yrs (I think) ago I started shaving with a double edged razor, and then a straight razor shortly there after. I have about 10 different shaving soaps and creams, 5 different aftershaves (Ogallala Bay Rum,Pinaud Special Reserve, Clubman, Booster June Clover and Oriental spice), a couple different shaving brushes (my favorite a Simpson Colonel) and many many razors.

I can't even begin to tell you how many different fragrances I have, and my wife is sick of my "cologne habit", lol. My current favorite is Tom Ford Arabian Wood, but a very close second is TF Tuscan Leather. I love Tom Ford, Creed, Guerlain and countless others. If you think that snus has a lot of variety...check out the world of fragrances. I joined another forum called Badger & Blade and love it there too, but if you like keeping your expendable cash...don't join ;-)

            Very little...

Soap of some kind. I'll use anything, but Grandpa's pine tar, and Pears are my favorites.

Whatever shampoo I can get for $1 a bottle

            Salt stick deodorant

            Toms of Maine toothpaste

            Straight razor

            Shaving brush

Swiss Army knife(I use the scissors for trimming hair)

            Cheap Indian brush

LOL...me too. I have enough colognes that I could wear a different fragrance everyday for at least a month ;-)

wouldn't mind buying some sandalwood aftershave though... but at £16 i'll go au naturelle.
