It feels like my A/C is going out. It's not getting as cool as it should. I have to go to work at 4pm, and I'm worried it will get too hot for my dog in here. I guess my mom is dog sitting or I'm calling in :/

You could cool the room 3rd world style. Tack a sheet up in a doorway, and put the bottom in a bucket of water. Then blow a box fan across the sheet, and you should get evaporative cooling :^) -
It looks like the outside unit and compressor aren't running. Maintenance can't be out to fix it until tomorrow. It's a two-floor apartment, I've got all the blinds pulled closed and it's supposed to be 96 today. It's 90 right now. Will my dog be alright while I'm at work?
