Premium Parrots: only if the carpet matches the drapes.
Crow: Of course, that's a given.
Crow: Imagine a jet black 'raven' with a red bush?
Crow: Hmm... You know, that actually sounds intriguing to me.
Premium Parrots: sounds like a freak to me

Top Gear is always good, like Ansel said Horizon is good, if you can get any Pannorama they are always good. The F1 coverage is excellent as is MotoGP, Blue Plannet, there was a recent doc called Oceans which was amazing too. Plenty on there to look at.

I feel Panorama has gone downhill in recent years, since it became a 30 minute program and not a 60 minute one. It used to be a good, solid in depth study, and now it's a fairly lightweight, tabloid-esque look at the issue in question.

I guess that's a sign of modern times, and people's inability to concentrate for very long.

BBC4 has some quality stuff on it, especially their music documentaries. There was one on recently about The Who and Quadrophenia with Pete Townshend talking really candidly about the making of the album, and the problems faced, and some amazing footage of the tour that followed.

The Top of the Pops: Story of 19xx series is also really good for music nostalgia.

BBC4 is definitely the best BBC channel at the moment. In my humble etc
