SCTV was awesome! Loved them when I was a kid. My grandmother's neighbour was a dead ringer for Pierre Trudeau and made an appearance or two in the early days of the show. At least that's what he told me .

But my favourite Canadian comedy series was Kids in the Hall - before they sold out.

Trailer Park Boys are pretty good too. I'm glad for this thread, going to revisit some of the old TPB episodes tonight over a few beers.

Just got back from Hempfest. A blast as always.. Very chill atmosphere, fun for everyone. Lots of Canadians (from BC and Alberta especially) made the drive here, as did Oregonians, Californians, and people from different parts of the world (UK, Australia, Netherlands).

I think it's time to relax, and enjoy another fine episode from the archives

Loved Kids in the Hall too!

Let us not forget the British contribution to great TV; Monty Python, Benny Hill, BlackAdder, Mr. Bean, Faulty Towers, my current favorite; The IT Crowd (funniest show I have ever seen). There are too many to mention as the Brits know comedy. The also know horror/sci-fi like, like Dr Who, Being Human, Misfits (love that show), Torchwood, and who could forget The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy? I know there are hundreds more that I haven't even heard of, but thank you BBCA for sharing!

TPB is some funny stuff. I never took the time to watch, but I think I'm gonna have to watch the rest of them.

i never heard of trailer park boys until a few months ago when I found it on netflix. I started watching it and find it so funny I about fall in the floor laughing sometimes. I have to wait until late night to watch it because of my wife. She complains about the F word use so much. It would be funny without all that anyway. The morning after I first watched the piss jug show I was laughing all day. I tried to tell my wife about it but just got a dumb look like she was ashamed to know me haha. Odd as it may be what cracked me up the most was some jugs would be yellow and some green haha.
