I just want to say I hope you keep posting. I like reading them. I'm glad you butted in on the gun control stuff because it's been really rammed down our throats lately. The media is out of control and I'm pissed too. Let me know if I can help I'm not far.

It's also WAY funnier when Gilbert does it!

Oh blimey ... I thought this was headed somewhere like this. I threw my toys out of the pram here a few years ago swearing that I'd never be back because it "just wasn't like it was before" ... see you after a little rest then sgreger1

Honestly ... I am an active member on forums about folk music, honing a straight razor, growing your own fruit and vegetables and a very specific type of accordion mainly played in NW Europe (with almost 2000 members)

.... and I've never known a bunch of geeks about any other subject get quite as emotional as we get here. It's quite sweet really.

Sometimes wrong and sometimes right .... but ALWAYS certain!!!

Sgreger, what works for me is some free mental time away from the nest. When the pressure builds from the wife and kid I just plan a escape where I will not be thinking about anything really. Vegas, road trip, cabin etc..The trick is to NOT BE THINKING ABOUT ANYTHING so you can breathe and re-focus again. I MEAN REALLY RELAX and get that laugh at yourself moment. It gets a little harder to do that as you grow older for some reason but I find it releases quite a weight from the soul.

or just take a couple of valiums. That will work also.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Eh Sgreger1 - You can't leave. Nobody minds if we express ourselves. Sure we might disagree, but, hell, it be fudging boring if we didn't.
And I guess you've sadly made up your mind and will be leaving soon, but know that I'll miss all your intelligent responses and witty remarks. Enjoy everything until you come back(It probably won't be too long(or so I hope)

Hey, what's wrong with banjos? I need them to play the background whilst I play the harmonica!

sgreger I remember when you first joined man. I wish you all the best.

I too agree that this forum is only a shell of what it once was.

I kind of wore out my welcome through my own doings and all that is my fault and I burned bridges that I probably cant fix but I still love snus and most of the ppl on here.
