Exactly. Anytime you get religious thinking vs freedom arguments, there is never a resolution. If there was, the world wouldn't be in the position it's in.

We all know that straight couples stay together forever and always do what is best for their children.

With everything going on in the world, especially with the divorce rate in America, I can't believe people still can act like marriage and adopting children is this sacred thing that only a man and a woman can do. If a gay couple adopts children and raises them right and loves them, I cannot see why the kids would suffer any ill effects. This is ridiculous.

I dont know, the lesbians across the street from me are raising a young boy and if I had to guess I would say he is going to like girls like his Momma and Momma do. However if he opens the nightstand the toys he finds will probably make him feel inferior and he will always have teenie peenie syndrome and beat up his girlfriends.

I conclude that no amount of studies will determine a better or worse life with either hetero or homo parents. I do note that growing up in an environment that is exclusively gay would probably be confusing to some children, so children should be able to draw their own conclusions as to where they are headed. Good parenting is good parenting no matter your gender preferences.

I like your "good parenting is good parenting" statement. We have way too many throw away children in this world. I often wonder what our world would be like if we valued children and made an effort as a society to care for them. People fight for the rights of unborn children but they are on their own after birth. Sad.
