6 days to air was a good one, I saw it just a few days ago. I lean toward documentaries and politics, boring to most, I suppose.

Speaking of UK shows on Netflix, The IT Crowd is hilarious, and one I just watched a couple weeks ago which is almost as good called Green Wing.

2 words Battlestar Galactica. The 2004 version that is. If you are a SciFi fan and haven't watched this show you will watch all the episodes in about a month trust me. If you are not a SciFi fan I dare you to watch 3 episodes of this show and not be hooked. There is a lot more going on the just space.

There's a ton of great TV shows you can get into on Netflix, especially British shows. If you want a list here are some of my favorites

        It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia
        Arrested Development
        Archer
        The League
        The Walking Dead
        Louie
        Doctor Who
        Scrubs
        Being Human (UK)
        Torchwood
        Sherlock
        Firefly

To me Netflix streaming isn't worth it for the movies as they hardly ever release anything that came out in the last year or so. Why not make use of the great TV shows. And yes I know I typed way more then 2 words.

I've been meaning to check out Troll Hunter, I've heard many good things.

I watched How To Survive A Plague yesterday. The documentary won a few awards and I had high hopes, but found it rather stylistically bland. The Union is a well made documentary on cannabis legality, and offers some insight into the prohibition. It's highly biased but, it's worth a watch if it's your area of interest.

Lately I have been on an ultimate B-movie cheeze kick on Netflix. For example my double feature the other night was The Toxic Avenger then Barbarella. I fell asleep during Barbarella, seriously it should have been a silent film...

Netflix would be a lot better if they would get with the times and stream some true new releases. We've had Netflix for years and really only watch the older TV shows on it like Star Trek, Top Gear and the wife watches the sitcoms from the 90's. There's a much better, and more recent, selection of rental streams on Xbox live IMO.

Initially it was good but I've binned it now. After you've had it a couple of months you realise how crap it is.

The dvd plan combined with the streaming is a great value. It seems as if we have at least two dvds a week. It can take some time for one's turn to view some of the more popular dvds as they have too few copies available.

I've noticed this more this year. But I think part of the reason is that there were less good movies that came out so every couple months a real good one comes out and everybody want's it. I just leave them at the top of my cue and usually I will get lucky and have it within a week of it becoming available. Or I'll redbox it if i want it that bad which I think was once in the last 12 months....
