On the other end, people are getting laid off while corporate officers are raking in cash. It's greed all around. The current capitalist system is broken, and unsustainable. It can only be fixed from the bottom up, but people can't see the forest for the trees. It'll get corrected eventually, but nobody's gonna like the correction. We're starting to see it with unpredictable weather, and water shortages. Wait until China and India really start cranking up, and things will get very bad indeed...
Yeah my post was a bit rambling. But regardless of the size I really don't care to give people who have lived it a 1st grade breakdown but once I get started there's so much to say. I'm for sure not gonna proof read it. Anyway, it's gone to shit and is gonna get worse for the majority of us. And for those who it hasn't count your blessings and enjoy it while you still can. The best we can do is adapt to the rapidly changing environment. In other words: You gotta do what you gotta do.

        That's insane.

Was that an actual gun fight, or just people shooting off guns to celebrate new year?

I think we are hitting on many points of a complex problem......one which in the end really comes down to greed.....and the way that it will eventually screws you and everyone around you

          Anyway....I enjoyed reading them

Granted that most private companies only really care about profit but from I vaguely remember from those mid-2000's is a auto workforce who was creating large SUV's, V-8 full size cars etc.. while gas prices were climbing overnight. Also I believe many of these workers were quite overpaid with a multitude of benefits the average American worker would never see in their lifetime. There also I believe was quite a large gap per hour salary compared to workers working at similar postitions in Japanese factories. So, pretty much it was bad decisions at the top with a overpriced work force that collapsed that American auto worker dream there.
