Don't like twinkies that much but hostess does make zingers now (used to be Dolly Madison) which I like the raspberry version. Don't eat them often but would be remiss if they were to go the way of the dodo. Also If I'm not mistaken Hostess also makes wonder bread and a few other names under their belt. I'm pretty sure tho they are just trying to bust up the bakers union. It's got to be hard for these private sector union people now a days. We'll just file BK good luck finding a new job in this economy sucker........

Well, it's official. Hostess will be closing its doors! It will be a bit sad to see the large rack of their snack cakes gone from the convenience store landscapes.

I agree Dog........I blame the recent surge of healthy living for the demise of the Twinkie. Hell, I was raised on Twinkies and Susy Q's in my lunch box when I was a kid and I'm not overweight! I looked forward to opening my lunch box and seeing my yellow friend there every day. Oh well.........someone will buy the factory and the recipes and start making them again. ;-)
