sounds great mate. I wish my fingers would cooperate like that. Arthritis sucks.
Same here PP, the mind is willing but the hands are not up to the task. Still, I occasionally pull out an old Gibson es I have and give it a try.
Nice playing Zimobog
I never tried a traditional sitar (or Whalen's version for that matter). My dad got to play one when he went to Calcutta. Banjo an sitar both have similar resonators (at least the original african gourd banjo).
I bought me a huge gourd to make a gourd banjo from but I havent started work on yet.
Hey, PP, if your into Jerry and the Dead at all, check out Jerry and David's fantastic rendition of another old time classic:
so who is not into Jerry G.? Thanks for posting that mate.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......
I've been wrong lots of times. Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.
Started playing classical guitar when I was around seven, took lessons for the next seven years. Still play frequently. I have a Manuel Rodriguez e Hijos Model A, love it dearly. It's been with me the past decade. Love renaissance music in particular. Also fledgling and amateur Banjo player.
