Has anyone ever worked in this sort of job? I hear it's awful, but it's looking like it's my only option.
Amazon warehouse jobs?

Any job is better than no job I guess. I imagine it's ass busting work. If it were me, I'd try to get into construction if you're gonna do hard work. With that you can learn useful skills. In a warehouse, once you've mastered the forklift, that's about it. You're moving items from one place to another. You could get promoted, and be able to tell other people where to move things, but it doesn't seem satisfying to me.

I'm with lx. If your gonna bust your ass you mine as well learn something while your at it. Skills are skills and you'd be surprised how far those skills can take you even if your laid off. Just knowing basic stuff with the help of youtube and other people you can manage to work for others for cash and not send half of your earnings into the poop chute. And healthcare is gonna be free if you work on a cash basis and your young health care is over rated. Seriously grab a hammer and some bronzer and stand in front of the home depot. You can thank us later.....
