    Upcoming EU bans

Does anybody have suggestions as to what the EU might want to ban in the years ahead?
    I figured out the following:

around 2018: wine gets banned. Reason - alcohol should taste like alcohol. Drinking should not be made attractive. Real Ale and cider is gone too. The French are expected to drink vodka as of now.

around 2020: Milk and sugar is banned in coffee. Reason: coffee is not good for peoples' health. Hence drinking it must be made a less pleasurable experience.

around 2025: Christmas and other traditions that are attributed to Christianity are banned across the EU. Reason: Christian traditions may offend certain minorities (even though Sweden, The Netherlands, Belgium have become muslim majority countries by now).

Le't s see how good we are at predicting things that will happen in the future..

You make a really good point here. What distinguishes alcohol from tobacco. I can prove without a shadow of a doubt that alcohol is bad for you. Can they do the same with snus?

Funny thing is, everything that gives the man pleasure is either unhealthy or immoral or it is illegal.

Dam......I suppose they will be cutting off my right hand.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Didn't you hear? The EU is to ban fleshlights from 2014 and anything related to, or that resembles a fleshlight, including Mr Jacks and pocket pussies, to stop young people from going blind!

It's official: the EU has decided to ban chocolate. The reason? So that black people don't get offended.

Hate to bring you bad news -- not that the EU would look at the data -- but wine drinkers live an average 5 years longer than non-drinkers and 2.5 years longer than beer or liquor drinkers...

                          http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp...Nxf01-IZXGjVdQ

I'd bet snusers live longer than non snusers -- based on my personal prejudices and bountiful optimism. Someone should sponsor this study...

                              What? ^^^

Have they distilled Chad, and put him in a bottle??

I'm not surprised the EU want to ban that.
