So a single adult human citizen is denied his inalienable right to marry a consenting adult pet? Consent can be expressed in various ways, but what´s more important, you cannot discriminate people just because their partner is a beast...

Care to explain how a non-human animal can legally consent to a contract of marriage?

Again, it isn't consensual. Would you buy a house from a dog? How can the dog express his desire to sell? How do you determine the asking price? What's your recourse if the house has defects?

By animal means. How can a dog consent to going out for a walk? That is just technicality. The idea is whether marriage is a bond between man and woman or whether it is a relation between man and anything/woman and anything.

Some people have really strange sex lives and it is none of my business. But when a group with a strange sex life tries to steal a religious concept of marriage for their twisted agenda, I do not like it.

BTW, how about bigamy? Husband and five wives, wife and five husbands? Is that included in the inalienable rights package for southern states, too? It´s completely natural phenomenon and fully legal in both Jajakistan and the United Liliput Mirates.

I have no issue with that.

@GoVegan: You can also include another husband or four

I also wanted to mention where these seemingly innocuous homosexual initiatives eventually lead: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/reli...-is-a-sin.html That is why I believe those attempts are also my business and vote accordingly.

What twisted agenda are you talking about? The right to be treated equally? Hardly twisted.

No, that's what happens when you don't guard your rights with zeal; you lose them. In the USA, we still have free speech rights. That has nothing to do with queer marriage, and everything to do with core human rights.

I am talking about twisted agenda which starts with "Human rights" and end with people like Åke Green being send to prison for quoting the Bible in a church. In other words about the agenda which aims for persecution of the Christians and packs it in nice humanistic phrases.

Yup. As long as you do not quote the Bible, that is.

So, free speech, really? In the USA? Are you sure that even with all those free speech laws reading Bible aloud is not a major crime?
