Just a little history

Aki started the site as a place where he and his friends could get together and talk about snus. If you look at older posts…….. (how to bake a pris is a good example) the membership was far more Scandinavian.

As snus got bigger and became more international, the site grew and became much more international as well.

A few years back the site had outgrown its server capabilities. It was then that the site moved to Northener’s servers (for a point of reference this is the time that Sage left)

Through it all Aki has been firm in his resolve to keep the site commercial/banner/sponsor/add free. It has been his unchanging commitment that the site shall be a free and open place for the snus community to come together and talk snus (and whatever else in on your mind) without any influence or obligation to merchants…….in fact, I can count the number of product announcements that even Icetool Co has made on the site (and they own it).

I recognize a few of those as Northerner satellite sites but my guess is that many of those are simply domain protection (guarding your site from competitors who will buy similar sounding names and use then to misdirect business to their site). I imagine others are simply domain marketing........they will buy up related domain names and then auction them to those who want them for a profit.
