I used to never really like them much but lately, the more I listed to The Dave Mathews Band, the more I like them.

I like DMB, but I tire of them very quickly. Aside from a few exceptions though, I'm not a big fan of vocal music.

If I had to pick just one song for it's guitar, it would be Peter Framptons "Do You Feel". A close 2nd would be Santana's remake of "Well All Right".

Santana and Frampton are both good examples of guitarists that exhibit tremendous skill at their craft but just don't interest me much as a fan. Then again I'm a fan of some pretty horrible music.

He was huge when I went to VA Tech, too the point of overload. Never a big fan but his drummer is amazing, as is his sax player.

Ah see the problem is reading comprehension, see they discussion was over the greatest, not whether they had talent or influence, additionally the discussion was about guitar in general, not just "rock" guitar. Hope that helps your reading comprehension issue.Ken

Once again, your ignorant attitude has just blinded you. And talking down to me does nothing to prove me wrong, and only shows you use ignornace to mask your lack of intelligence. I comprehended everything just fine. Talent and influence go hand in hand with greatest ever, and I realize (as I stated when crediting your list as all excellent guitarists) that its just not about rock, and EVH and Slash can stand toe to toe with any guitar player in any genre. I never claimed they were better than anyone else, just that they belong on any list of greatest guitar players, because thats what they are, whether youl ike the music or not. So go on and keep trying to belittle me and making an ass out of yourself. If you would ever like to have a normal conversation, and talk to me like a person (since you act like you know me and don't know a single thing about me), then i would love to converse about guitar players. But as far as you lecturing me, and trying to "win" with subtle" insults, well, I am done with that. You keep on showing your ignornace, its at least cheap entertainment for the folks here.
