Same here, I think the production is more atmospheric and it's the one I grew up listening to. You know that this makes us heretics among "true" Misfits fans, right?
Yeah I know, but LOB is one of my favorite albums, well compilations. I love the artwork and tone and I consider it signature to my favorite era of Fits tunes.
The only heretics among misfits fans are the ones that believe Jerry Only can hang with Glen Danzig and Michael Graves on vocals
Oh sweet Jesus, tell me about it. Although a mention Danzig is touring this summer and part of the tour will be him and Doyle doing 'Fits tunes. He is coming no where near me though...
My favorite for guitar. Seen him play a number of times at a local venue.
There is just something about surf rock guitar. So wait he uses a lefty guitar strung upside down?!? I wonder how he evolved to that playing style. When people use odd tunings or setups there is always an interesting journey that got them there.

I will say this... Jerry Only turned in a solid vocal on "It's Only Make Believe" on Project 1950. Other than that his singing sound like cats fighting.
I would love it if there was a real Misfits reunion. Eerie Von on bass, Doyle on Guitar, Danzig as Danzig, and any one of the thirty drummers they've played with in the past.

If I had to pick one of their drummers over their history it would have to be Robo.

My brother and a friend went to either Jersey or Atlanta to see Danzig and Doyle. He said they had to keep stopping the show because Doyle kept breaking his strings. He said it was the second best spectacle he'd seen other than watching GWAR at Ziggy's.

Ziggy's in Winston Salem right. Man GWAR there would be something. I actually saw the 'Fits there a while back during the Graves years. Friend of mine also saw Type O there a long time ago.
