There isn't one for traditional English chewing tobacco, there would be for US like dip etc as spitting is frowned upon , but makla etc here, no stigma, there is a small but loyal user base.

Beautiful children GN. Seeing them lie there reminds me of mine - your boy and girl are about the same ages as mine........you look a bit rough though

Hey GN - I think you look beautiful!

But your prince is upside down ... and he's wearing lipstick!

I know the feeling of no sleep with children - someone once told me that at the end all the tiredness is worth it. I have to still believe them - but I haven't got there yet!

          Cheers

Why not register it as chew with the government

but leave the description off the can

OR…..OR…..OR…………….. put “oral nicotine” on the label

              Hey Dog!

I don't think there is actually a stigma with chew or any kind of oral tobacco in the UK. People don't think it's dirty or wrong here ... they genuinely just haven't got a ****ing clue what it is in the first place!

I get the impression that in the USA it's more frowned upon by the majority because they know of it's history and remember spittoons and the such like and it's been ghettoised in the south for years.

What the EU has against snus really is impossible to work out ... as far as I can tell they thought it was bad 15 years ago and it takes them 50 years to turn around and make a different decision in the light of new evidence because it is the ridiculous pinnacle of a faceless unrepresentative bureaucracy and getting any change out of it is like trying to turn an oil tanker around in a sea of treacle!

However - your premise is absolutely correct in that it could be used to get around laws made by knee-jerk politicians who actually haven't thought through the definitions enough to actually differentiate between different types of smokeless tobacco.

              Cheers

I have a 4 (boy) and a 6 (girl) - they have been taking turns to be ill since the beginning of December and this house just can't wait for the Springtime to come fast enough. It's been dreadful for illnesses this winter.

We had a year like that. We've got off pretty lightly this year. We had influenza in October and that was it. Just colds - in fact they've got one now. 4 and 6 is a nice age - surely you should be past the knackering stage.

It's pretty knackering if you have to get your tax return done by January 31st and you thought you were ahead by starting in december Frosted! I work from home when I'm not on tour and believe me the stress of not being able to do what you know you need to do for work because you become the nursemaid for months on end is knackering.

Not in the same way as the lack of sleep from a young baby though! I think humans have a basic instinct to lose all memory of that once it's out of the way !
