    Corrupted micro SD card

I got a Razr Maxx HD last week and after a few days of using it, I got an error message that the SD card was unexpectedly ejected. Not possible because it was in a case and you have to use a little pin like thing to open the cover. Needless to say, all my stuff is gone from card.

I was wondering if anyone has had any success recovering data from a corrupted micro SD card. I didn't have a lot of stuff on it but some of the photos are irreplaceable. I should have backed stuff up before switching phones but forgot to do that.

I put the card in a card reader but it is showing no data on a pc.

    Any help would be appreciated.

You could try PhotoRec, which is a part of the TestDisk Suite. It's a command line program, and not the most user friendly, but if there's something there to recover, it should do it. You can get it on the bootable PartedMagic disc, which contains many other useful tools. If you go this route, read the documentation first. Also, it would be better if you imaged the card, and worked on the image. Less chance of irrevocably screwing something up.

PhotoRec documentation - read it all, including links. It isn't a one click recovery.

This just happened to me a couple week ago and I used the program lxskllr suggested. Got all my photos and even videos back.
