    Oral Tori Aspartame Paranoia

I have been using Copenhagen WG on and off for close to a year or more and have noticed a slight pain in that area of usage. Almost like a throbbing cavity. A dental visit seemed to be okay with just a little pain after cleaning in that area so I did not worry about anymore. So, I switched to using natural flavor dip products thinking the pain would go away and it seems like it had. During a vacation I ended up with some severe pain in that area after using a can of Copenhagen fine snuff on and off which made me think it was definately a dying root. I have had two root canals in my life and the pain was very similar. After some exploration I noticed a bump on the inside of my gum which almost confirmed the thought that I will need a root canal in the area where I place dip. People lose teeth from chewing tobacco right? So, it was not a shocker but the "Ohh F&CK" thought was there. A little more research because usually the bump comes on the outside of the gum for a infected root I realized I have what is called tori bumps on the inside of my mouth. I have two similar and one odd one that sticks out by itself which at the moment felt similar to a bump of a infected root. Only about 30% of the population has these bumps. If it was not a dying root then the panic started that maybe this is something more serious after seeing cancer tumor xrays on google images in the same area until I finally realized I have not chewed gum in a long time because of teeth pain and that day I had chewed gum. There are some studies on aspartame ripping tooth enamel off and others that debunk the theory so I am not even sure if it is aspartame/sucralose or just plain sugar that kills my teeth but it was enough of a panic for change. I am going to try and move to more natural or natural flavored products in the coming days.

Looks like Sucralose in Cope WG might of been contributing to my tooth pain.
