Violence in America- best video EVER

Ok, this video isnt short or for those with a short attention span. But I have never found a better presentation of the facts. Noone should make up their mind until they watch this. And I include our brothers and sisters living in other countries.

If you are serious about enacting gun control or keeping your firearms, you owe it to yourself to watch.

Thanks for the comment. Pretty amazing how just a few cities (with homicide rates and population sizes approaching that of third world nations) can totally jack numbers around. Without those gangwar hotspots, the US has a lower violent crime rate than a lot of European nations.

          I sense your sarcasm.

I held out for as long as I could, but he lost me the moment he said that taxation is theft, and the solution to poverty and our debt crisis is getting rid of social programs and merely encouraging the displaced to attain a diploma, get a job, find a partner that won't bail out on you, and having a baby with said partner. Oh, if life were only that easy.

Very interesting about comparing the figures of poverty, illegitimacy, work, crime rate etc.. before the big welfare push of the mid sixties. It seems like a helpful government agenda that has evolved into a social and big budget political nightmare.

Although welfare is a huge reason for the marriage decline among the poor I would also add feminism, individual about me materialism and "do like momma did" to every class for that decline.

"Taxation" is an abstraction for theft. I can prove it to you. You personally want to pay "taxes" as you feel it is just and correct, no problem. But here is the moral problem: If someone doesn't want to pay, what happens to them? What level of violence and kidnapping do you personally condone against that other human, and would you be willing to carry it out yourself if the responsibility was your's alone? Do you feel that there, inside the abstraction of taxation, rests the moral justification for violence and force if a person does not wish to pay?

Diploma, job, partner... Can you agree that a person's chances of beating poverty and being happy increase by having a dimploma, a job, and a partner?
Can you agree that a child's IQ goes up being raised by in a home like that, while the chances of abuse and spending a life on welfare or jail increase absent a stable home life?

Do you understand the reason why we have taxes to begin with? What justification is there to flat out refuse paying taxes; which are used to provide services you take advantage of? You, personally, may not be a beneficiary of social programs; but you use the public road system, and your pre-college level education was funded with tax revenue. Police and firefighters? Paid with taxes.

Yes, a person's chances of 'beating poverty' increases with a stable job, and a good education. But to merely encourage those at the bottom rungs to get said job and education without lending any assistance whatsoever is not a rational approach to solving poverty. It's quite the opposite.

Ok, you are trying to convince me that paying taxes is for a worthy cause. I assume that you yourself pay taxes for that reason. My question is not that the gang called government is using money obtained by force for "good", but iftaxes are obtained by "theft", theft being violence.

My question is: What types of violence and force do you personally condone be used against your fellow human who does not agree? Beaten with sticks? Stabbed? Small particles of lead injected into the flesh at high speeds of travel? Family pets executed? Children watch as mom and dad are dragged away? Throw him in a dank dungeon?

The second question is: Would you personally be willing to carry out those acts of violence yourself against your fellow humans? You know... the wet work. Could you and would you personally do it?

Do you have instances to show that the government is killing the family pooch for refusal to pay taxes? I'm curious to hear your example... I'm sure Snusdog would definitely want to know more about this as it hits close to home for him!

I'm curious. If you don't have a problem paying certain taxes, which taxes in specific are you against paying? Is it only social issues? Or do you flat out not want to pay a single dime?

Thanks for putting emphasis on what I say, by the way...

So if a guy holds me up at gun point, but promises the money will be used for life-saving medical treatments, he's not really robbing me...

What government? You mean those guys in costumes with guns? I didn't say some costumed gangsters did anything to someone's dog, I was trying to find out if Crow personally felt that it was an acceptable method of force against another person.

Ok... Violence: what level is ok and would you personally do it to someone who didn't want to pay?
