So I lost my job today...

I work for a church, who's in "financial trouble"...:NOTE, this is a multi million dollar facility with 2000 members. They decided to make my job part time. Which to me, is a polite way of saying leave. I can't go part time and they damn well know that. And I told them that I'm not sticking around for part time work. I have a 9 month old son and family to take care of. Plus, this eliminates my health benefits which is a real kick in the dick because I'm recovering from cancer.

So thank you so much church for caring about people! I have 25 days till my job is part time. I have to find a job ASAP.

To boot, our house is on the market. We need to upgrade because of our growing family...once again, thank you church for being so understanding. Rant over.

Just so you know I'm not some creeper, I interview at least 15 people monthly and I have for 23 years and have hired probably close to 1000 people in my career.

Sorry! Keep some of your anger in reserve in case it's a long haul. It helps motivate if handled right. It helps to know you're not alone too or maybe in this case that doesn't help! They are out there looking for better jobs too. Better or at least fun and respectful of you as a human being. Not very many jobs like that anymore. A man without a job is a wounded beast. Snus more and lay low when it hurts. This will pass and like my mom always loved to quote, "this too will pass!"
