How Much Snus I Use

I told Tattooer I was gonna track my snus use for a week, and I forgot what thread it was in, so I'm making a new thread :^D

I don't have a scale, so all quantities are eyeballed. I started with new tins of Göteborgs Prima Fint, General lös, and Gotland Grå lös. Portions were a la carte. There's about 10g left of Göteborgs and General, and about 24g left of Gotland. I also used 4 portions. That was a bit more than usual, but I was sent the Jakobssons test snuses, and I wanted to give them a try. That gives a grand total of 94g used in 7 days of snusing. That's a bit less than I thought. If manufacturers put the correct amount of snus in the tins,it would be less than 2 tins per week. Even with price raises, that's still less than when I smoked which was $15 per week. That was before they really jacked the prices on RYO tobacco.

Very cost effective! I wish I had known about RYOs instead of the Marlboros @ $ 40 a week!

I wont measure my own use since its so low. Like that much in a month. I snuff and vape too though. The savings over nicorette ( which i chewed for 10 years) is about 1/4 the cost AFTER I break even in two years from ALL the vape products i invested in trying things and figuring all that out. Snus is sooo much easier and id use snuff only bit i like to give my nose a break.

I am also a vaper and a snuffer on top of snussing, as well as smoking the occasional coffin nail. I probably average out 3-4 cigs a week, a tin of snus about every 3-4 days, and about 4-5 ml of e liquid a week.

Oops. I forgot about my pipes. I seldom use them. Once a week? I found a Boswells Sweet Tea recommended to me by Tattoo here on snusone when i mentioned if pipe smelled as good smoked as it did fresh and made my room smell like airfreshened fresh pipe and didnt leave a nasty taste in my mouth id puff away. It fits the bill pretty well! I really dont mis inhaling smoke at all so no worry there. My vape satisfies any of that urge for throat hit inhaling. Im pretty happy camper!

So I'll repeat what I posted there

I chain snus........a can lasts me 3-4 days (thus right at 2 cans a week)

I use probably 4-5 portions a week (meetings and what not)

I think my usage peaked at about 1 roll of portions a week, but at the moment, and for a while, I'm on about 1/2 a roll a week. Depends on how I feel and what I'm upto I think.

A roll a week? Now down to half a roll???? WTF!! Thats some serious snusage! I am probably on a can a week, if that, sometimes more, this week I did manage to kill an oden's 69 in 2 days.

I keep snus in for a long time. One hour minimum, and even at that level, I feel a bit like I'm wasting snus. I like at least 75 minutes. In any case, as long as it has flavor, I keep using it. I pretty much always have snus in, but the overall quantity isn't that great.

Same here, usually 2hrs or more, once it tastes of nothing, or the loose totally breaks up, i keep it in. Went 6hrs once without realizing I still had a portion in lol

Ive fell asleep with a portion in many times, however what a terrible tastse.....yuk

Normal usage in mind,Ive read after a hour,most of the "good stuff" is gone, so after a hour snusing.....
I ditch portions after a hour Odens however has a better tobacco taste after the flavor goes, so i keep those longer.

Yes I know what you mean about falling asleep with one in, you wake up to a hugely concentrated bitter taste!
