Security/WAR is big business and if you have to create a lie or coerce people by fear propaganda then that is what they will do to make the big bucks.

The majority of America has fallen for the propaganda and is now willingly walking and taking their children to a place which they will never be able to return from.

I've been talking about this for awhile. It's good to see it hit MSM. I'm gonna be at my mother's house tomorrow. It'll be interesting to see how the cocksuckers on MSNBC spin it. I'll probably end up getting pissed off. They just about knock each other over for a chance to get Obama's dick in their mouthes. It's all especially galling with Obama because he's supposed to be "different". Bush was dumb as a brick, talked to spirits, and was pretty upfront about his ideals and goals. What's Obama's excuse?

I love bringing this stuff up when my hardcore liberal cousin refers to the right as fascists. It seems that both parties have their fair share of it. Do what we say, believe the way we say, get in line or I'll fire a drone at your ass.

The Patriot Act, a few wise people were all over this back then. Most were waive the flag, do what the government tells you, fear the big bad enemy, "if you do nothing wrong you have nothing to fear." Or they were just apathetic. Now we're the enemy.

Is that a suggestion or is a reject government what we have already?

I permanently deleted my Facebook account.

I never had much on it and was about to anyway.

I encourage all to do the same as a protest.

Dump Facebook as a first step.

My Verizon account is next. Mainly due to their insane
price increases and package with nothing but unlimited
minutes. I don't need the minutes. Right now I am grandfathered
in on Verizon for $80.00 for unlimited data, 1,000 texts and 450 minutes.

If I switch phones I have to get a new plan. That is how they get you
out of the grandfathered plan. New plan would average $90-$100
for a gig or two of data.

I am going Virgin mobile at $35 a month unlimited even if the service sucks.

I reject their claims of authority. Government is a cancer.

Facebook sucks for many reasons, and their privacy is non-existent, but changing to new services of the same type won't get you far. Google is almost as bad, and in any case, they have to do what the government tells them to do. They can hand over your data, or go to jail. Personally, I might be inclined to go to jail, but I don't run Google. Large companies disobeying the tyrants could wake the population up, but companies are about $, not doing right. Try to use computer services that aren't in the USA. Any server in the US is open to seizure. Pick a free country for your data.

Encrypt everything. You'll have to get your friends in on it too, but encrypt your email, and messages, and for the love of Eris, don't use Skype.

Regarding Verizon, if you use mobile phones, you're being tracked. If you want to minimize it, buy your own phone that can be rooted, and preferably can use a third party ROM. Keep it OFF or in airplane mode when you aren't using it. It's less convenient, but when the phone's on, you're being tracked and logged. I've been happy with Net10, but I don't have a phone of any kind atm. Net10 will sell you a sim card to use in your rooted phone. Pay for it with cash, and add time by using cash.

                            Edit:
You'd probably appreciate RiseUp. Look over their services, and read the site. They're hosted in the USA, but are less inclined to roll over for the government. Better than using Google services. The best thing is to host services yourself, in your house, but everyone isn't prepared to do that.

In a rare public filing in the secret Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC), the Justice Department today urged continued secrecy for a 2011 FISC opinion that found the National Security Agency's surveillance under the FISA Amendments Act to be unconstitutional. Significantly, the surveillance at issue was carried out under the same controversial legal authority that underlies the NSA’s recently-revealed PRISM program.

EFF filed a suit under the Freedom of Information Act in August 2012, seeking disclosure of the FISC ruling. Sens. Ron Wyden and Mark Udall revealed the existence of the opinion, which found that collection activities under FISA Section 702 "circumvented the spirit of the law” and violated the Fourth Amendment's prohibition on unreasonable searches and seizures. But, at the time, the Senators were not permitted to discuss the details publicly. Section 702 has taken on new importance this week, as it appears to form the basis for the extensive PRISM surveillance program reported recently in the Guardian and the Washington Post.

The government sought to block EFF’s FOIA suit by arguing that only the FISC, itself, can release the opinion. In an effort to remove that roadblock, EFF filed a motion with the FISC on April 22 seeking the surveillance court’s consent to disclosure, should the document be found to be otherwise subject to release under FOIA. In its response filed with the FISC today, the government offers a circular argument, asserting that only the Executive Branch can de-classify the opinion, but that it is somehow prohibited by the FISC rules from doing so.
