Ebay Snipers...hate'em or love doing it?

I love to buy stuff on E-bay, but I hate getting sniped, who doesn't? That being said, if you can't beat them, join them...right? I'm not sure if I want to do get into doing this, but part of me really wants to just get a sniping program/app and start using it to get the things I want, lol.

Anyone here have strong feelings, one way or another, about sniping on E-bay? If you love it, what program do you use or recommend?

Sniping is the only way to play. If you aren't sniping, you're doing it wrong. I don't use programs. I prefer the excitement and challenge of doing it by hand. It adds fun to the experience.

Those progs are shit, best way is to just sit there a few minutes before the end fo the auction and keep refreshing, that way you always beat those autobiding apps

        There....I fixed that for you.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Goes without saying. That's just hanging around the house/car/mom's house/church... It doesn't apply to Ebay specifically.

Why not just use your fleshlight?

I love sniping programs if it's something I really want. They hardly ever fail for me and make sure I don't get caught bidding over the price I'm comfortable with. I just set my top price and wait for a confirmation e-mail to tell me I've won or lost it.

I'm sure it's not cricket though!

I like doing it manually. I found you can get good deals by being on there in the middle of the night, less competition. I don't know why people list thing to end at 2 in the morning, but there is stuff that ends at those hours. I recently got a nice digital camera for 15 bucks, I was the only bidder.

I would recommend AuctionSniper who I have always used. It's not free but it really works.

Well - I do want it that bad sometimes ... and I love this world ... unless someone can prove otherwise - I'm determined to make the most of the only place life as we know it can exist despite all the seemingly awful things that can happen here!

http://www.jbidwatcher.com/ is what i use. it is free. it is not exactly plug and play but very detailed and reliable. it's possible to run it with a local (or remote) mysql install which makes even more stable.
