Found this whilst browsing for random crap, Slayer's Angel of Death slowed down 800x, this would be a great soundtrack for some pseudo horror film, my dark twisted mind is loving it!

Numerous open source Linux projects and plugins could do that. Ardour for example if you wanted to work in a professional SAW environment. I run Ardour as the center of my recording studio (hobbyist) and it is very powerful.
