Which Country Has the WORST Food?

Okay, we sort of know which countries have the best food. Nations like Italy, China, and Japan. But here is an unusual question: Which country has the worst food and why?

Until recently I would say that the British Isles has the worst food. Boiled and overcooked is NOT the way to prepare most food since it cooks the flavor right out of it. However, in recent years food has reportedly improved in that part of the world.

So which country NOW has the WORST food in the world? And please give reasons for this if possible.

India.....cus most that I've eaten tastes like shit.

and Cuba....cuz most all they have to eat is chicken and they are skinny as hell.....but many of the citizens can't afford to eat chicken anyway. They are lucky to be able to afford some kind of mystery sausage that is supposed to be as close to ham as you can get in Cuba. That's mostly what I ate while over there. It wasn't too bad but I could never really figure out what really was in it. Tourists can get lobster and its pretty good....but really expensive and can only be gotten in the high class government owned resturants. However, every time I ate the lobster I got the shits.

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

They all have something that's perfectly wonderful or horrible don't ya think? Generally I'd say. The poorest countries have the worst food. I was in the Congo and they had a grey ish stuff they made fom manioc root. Zero nutrition, all carbs and no flavor to speak of but I did like the texture. It's basically tapioca. I politely ate catapillars in peanut sauce, some kind of grassy greens boiled...served with peanut sauce, pork that gave me histolitic amoeba for which I was hospitalized, the hottest relish I've ever tasted that gave me violent hiccups and only warm beverages ( so I drank Guiness Stout ha ha)
try and beat that. The good thing they had was fresh, not frozen or canned. In fact the catapillars were squirming before being plopped into the sauce.

Cascadia has the best food, by far.

The worst? I would say Finland.

I love Indian food. That might actually be my favorite. I guess my vote for worst would be British, but I'm not very worldly.

there will be all kinds of responses to the OPs question. Everyone has different tastes and no one has tasted everything. The responses are interesting tho.

Fish and Chips? That has to count for something.

I would like to see people give some examples of exactly what British food they have eaten, here in the British Isles, to give them such an opinion on our cuisine.

Sure we have the worst cuisine in the world here on Irish&British islands, but also access to very good ingredients, so with some effort you can cook any kind of meal. Finland is also notorious for bland cuisine and mystery sausages.

Same whereveer you go,its what you do with the ingreedients that counts, not the actual food itself.
