This one was flat... Not rounded like the photos I've seen of the Colorado beetle... Also the head marking looks different.

Oh well.. I guess it's just some alien species that mysterious arrived at home, ready to settle in.

I think the fear sent in to us was because it isn't a native here! And if one was spotted the Potato Council of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (that's not a joke by the way - they really exist) - spent thousands on an ad campaign to inform the public that if they saw one they were obliged by law to report it to the authorities.

I suppose if you live in Colorado then you might expect to see them on a more regular basis!

And one more thing……….it is my aspiration…..yea my dream……. to join the hallowed ranks of the Royal Potato Council of Great Britain……..warring against the infamy of calling the French fry…..FRENCH……..voicing stern and scolding objections to the obvious social stereotypes and public profiling behind such toys as MR.
