    Super Duper Charged

This is off topic even for the PAWAU section but it's too outrageous to pass up posting. This vehicle is what sits at the gates of Hot Rod heaven, as a warning.

I don't get it. It's alright as a visual gag, but it's hard to see over the motors, and the chassis can't handle the power. I guess my head's in different place. I'd rather have a 27 Ford that looked like it just drove off the showroom floor. All original, and 15 horses, or whatever they came with stock.

Well I guess you gotta be sympathetic to the whole rodding milieu to appreciate it. This one is pretty far off the reservation though. My personal faves are fenderless 28-29 Model A roadsters with mildly hopped up original flathead four-bangers. Very cool but not all that much in the mainstream of rodding either.

I Get it, appreciate it but wouldn't do it myself. Not to sound to cliched but I'd really love to restore a mid- to late 50's chevy. Prolly my ol man's influence but I'll tell ya when a cherry 55,56,57 go by me on the road I want to follow them.... I'd actually love to buy a 89 nissan z as well.....

I love classic cars, and restorations, but I'm not much into hotrods. I see a hotrod and get vaguely depressed cause a classic car was modified, and can never be brought back. I'd rather see a hotrod scratch built, or use some new infrastructure that's easy to come by, and leave the old stuff alone. If I could have any classic car, it would probably be tossup between a 21 window deluxe VW bus, or a Willys wagon.

          Edit:
or for something really esoteric, I'd love to have a VW Schwimmwagen. Probably nearly impossible to find parts though. Everything would have to be custom made.

You know what I would love to have. Either an old, maybe 70's, Toyota Land Cruiser or an old Land Rover. You know the one with sunroofs all over it.
