2 Dead, 12 Wounded In Weekend Violence (CHICAGOSTAN)

CHICAGO (STMW) –Two people were killed and 12 people were injured during shootings across the city since Friday afternoon.
A 17-year-old boy was shot and killed early Sunday in the Albany Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side, police said.
The teenager was standing on the sidewalk about 1:20 a.m. in the 3700 block of West Lawrence Avenue when two male offenders approached and fired shots, police said.
The boy was shot in the upper back and was unresponsive at the scene, police said. Police believe the attack was gang-related.
Saturday evening, a 39-year-old man was killed while standing on an Auburn Gresham neighborhood sidewalk.
