    Buddy Rich - Fun Facts and Information

    Buddy Rich died on April 2, 1987. Reportedly, among his last words prior to surgery when asked by a nurse if he was allergic to anything were, "Yes...country music!"

    lol, I doubt that most of the members here are old enough to know who Buddy Rich is. Google will be buzy tonight.


    Buddy was amazing.
    Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......



    I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

      Don't need to google the man. He was a total maniac, on & off the drums, and a stitch on Carson's couch. Krupa was the same but he got, er, caught more than Rich.

                    Age does not matter when it comes to Buddy Rich. Anyone seriously into music knows who he was. My son is 23 years old and knows who Buddy Rich is/was.
